Critical Ventilation From Plant to Performance
We install, service, troubleshoot and refurbish air handling units and ventilation systems, with particular experience in healthcare systems serving theatres and other specialist clinical areas. We work with estates teams, facilities managers and consultants to understand how the AHU, connected plant, ductwork and room ventilation perform together, not simply whether the fan is running.
When a system is underperforming, we investigate the cause before recommending works. That can mean checking airflow, water flow, coils, filters, dampers, heat recovery wheels and controls. We can refurbish or replace an AHU, upgrade older belt-driven fans to plug or EC fans, and carry out the associated mechanical, electrical and controls work. For healthcare projects, we can coordinate specialist testing, validation and independent verification through trusted partners as part of the agreed scope.

Can you investigate a theatre ventilation system that is failing verification?
Yes. We can review the findings, inspect the AHU and connected services, investigate the cause and develop a remedial scope with the Trust and its specialist team.
Can you upgrade an older belt-driven AHU fan?
Yes. We can assess a conversion to a suitable plug fan or EC fan arrangement, including the electrical supply, controls, space available and required airflow.
Do you only refurbish AHUs, or can you replace the whole system?
We do both. The recommendation depends on the condition of the existing plant, the areas it serves, the performance required and the constraints of the building.
Can you deliver a complete healthcare ventilation project?
Yes. We can coordinate the AHU and associated mechanical, electrical and controls works, along with specialist testing and verification for the agreed project scope.
